If you decide to rent a car take the Pan-American Highway (CA-1W) towards the Mexican border, turn of to your left at signs indicating PANAJACHEL at kilometer 130, this is road RN-1 towards Panajachel, passing through the town of Sololá. This last stretch of road is 17 kilometers long. 50 mts. before entering to Panajachel you will find the entrance to Hacienda San Buenaventura, turn to your right (a U turn) and go for almost 800 meters to the entrance of the Hotel San Buenaventura de Atitlán.
